Grillfish

So me and my friend were walking around Dupont last night looking for a place to eat and we came across Grillfish, we took a look their menu an thought it was pretty good. But honestly I would've have eaten anywhere because it was over 100 degrees outside and any air conditioned refuge would've sufficed. So we heard good things about Grillfish, well my friend had and the things that you heard were probably true.

Grillfish

• Enviroment:
• The crowd there was pretty much the more sophisticated crowd because we were probably the only two people under 25 there. The food was good and the wait wasn't long at all. 
• Price:
• The prices here were a tad bit expensive but they basically catered to the people that they served.  For two people our bill was almost 60 bucks which is a bit much for two people on a budget but again people who eat here aren't thinking about the price of the food.
• Service: 
• The staff was very friendly including the hostess and waitress. We hadn't made a reservation, so when we got there we had to wait. But we were seated about 10 minutes later. Our waitress was extremely helpful.  

Summary: This is a cool restaurant to go to if you don't mind spending some money and enjoy a relaxed environment where you can enjoy a glass of wine with your entree, but not so good of a place if you're looking for a good place to eat on a budget. 

Continuing the night we went to to Mackey's on 18th and L in Northwest. We were a little bit surprised because it was a Friday night and no one was outside drinking or eating.  We walked in and it was kind of dead.

Mackey's

• Environment:
• Wasn't really much going on here so there really wasn't much of an environment here. Although there was a lot of room here a lot of the tables and seats were empty. But I think when this place is full I think it would be a really cool place to go out for drinks.
•  Price:
• The prices here were fair and the drinks were good. I have had some of their food before and it's not bad but if you're going to Mackey's then you're probably just going for drinks.
•  Service:
• The bartenders were cool but that's pretty much it

Summary: All in all it was ok. I think it could've been a whole lot better if more people were there. In its defense it was extremely hot outside so it's possible that some people just didn't want to go out that night.

So we continued our night and our next destination was Cafe Citron. As we all know there are a lot of homeless people in DC.  As we were walking down the street we passed a homeless person who asked us for some money we didn't respond but after we passed us he started cussing us out. That probably was one of the high points of the night because it was so hilarious. But as we our way to the club pass the crazy guy we arrived at Cafe Citron.  It was definitely the best place we went to for the night. The music was pretty good and there was a landing upstairs that had a bar and people were up there dancing too. The drinks here were pretty good too.
